H.E. Ambassador Bizunesh Meseret, Chargée d’Affaires of the Embassy, took part in World Trade Expo 2024 Round Table Discussion on “Africa-India Relations: A New Paradigm” in Mumbai, India.
H.E. Ambassador Bizunesh emphasized the long-standing relationship between Africa and India evolving from a shared anti-colonial struggle to a multifaceted cooperation on political, economic and social affairs. She also hailed India’s unwavering support for the inclusion of the African Union in the G-20 and for Ethiopia to join BRICS as testaments to India’s dedication to global inclusivity.
Furthermore, the Ambassador underscored the Embassy’s commitment to collaborate with African Embassies, World Trade Centre (WTC) Mumbai, and All India Association of Industries (AIAI) to further boost the existing economic ties between Africa and India.
